Will revamp Congress after poll results: Mullappally
Thiruvananthapuram: KPCC president Mullappally Ramachandran declared that Congress committees will have a major revamp after the assembly poll results. He made the statement while responding to K Sudhakaran’s criticism.
“K Sudhakaran raised criticism demanding a comprehensive change in the party. We are taking this criticism in a positive sense. The party doesn’t want to question his intention. But Sudhakaran knows that it is impossible to conduct election for committees only for Kerala,” said Mullappally.
“No party worker tried to defeat any candidate in the assembly polls. Following the debacle in LSG polls, the party has decided to remove DCC presidents. But we didn’t execute it. A major revamp will be made in the committees soon after the assembly poll results,” added the KPCC president.
Pointing out the mysterious death of murder case accused in Panoor, Mullappally demanded a probe into similar deaths reported in Kannur.
