Will not remain in UDF at any cost if promises are broken, PJ Joseph to UDF leaders
Thiruvananthapuram: PJ Joseph has warned that it would be wrong to presume he would stick with UDF unconditionally. Joseph faction has registered strong dissatisfaction with breach of promise regarding Kottayam district panchayat president. He also threatened to boycott further meetings if the promises are not kept.
As per the understanding that was arrived by UDF leadership regarding Kottayam district panchayat president, the final six months of the tenure should go to the Joseph faction. PJ Joseph-led faction is extremely upset since this agreement was violated.
It has been 56 days since the day of upholding this agreement. So Joseph has warned that they would not continue with UDF at any cost.
Anxiety has gripped Congress leaders after PJ Joseph’s latest move. The other day Joseph took part in a meeting with Pinarayi Vijayan in order to discuss the problems in the agricultural sector due to COVID-19. UDF is apprehensive about whether this is the beginning of a political move.
