Thiruvananthapuram: KPCC president K Sudhakaran said that Congress will intensify protest and conduct awareness campaigns against the K-Rail project. He also said that K-Rail will make suffer those who live on both sides of the K-Rail line than those who lose their land.
Ha also added that classes and seminars will be held to educate people about the adverse impacts of K-Rail. Documents and graphics will be used for the seminars. Eminent environmental and socio-cultural activists like E Sreedharan will be leading the seminars.
During the initial months, awareness classes will be arranged. Later, public marches to the collectorates will be held. The protest march to collectorate scheduled on March 7 will mark the commencement of the second phase of the protests against the K-Rail project. The leaders would reach out to the people and distribute pamphlets and conduct protests.
