Thiruvananthapuram: KPCC president Mullappally Ramachandran hinted that he would contest the Assembly polls if directed by Congress.
Responding to a question if he would contest the Assembly election, Mullappally Ramachandran said that he was a Congress activist who has always followed the party's directions.
“I have never faced disciplinary action and have a track record of following the directions of the party,” he added.
Responding to a question if he would contest from Kalpetta, Mullappally Ramachandran said that he did not know anything about such reports. There were reports that Mullappally Ramachandran would contest from Kalpetta.
When asked if the KPCC president’s post was under threat following the LSG poll debacle, Mullappally Ramachandran said that such a question was insignificant.
Mullappally Ramachandran said that Ramesh Chennithala performed exceptionally as the Leader of Opposition. It was Chennithala who brought out all the important scams of the government, he said.
