Kozhikode: Following the closing ceremony of the 61st Kerala School Kalolsavam, Education Minister V Sivankutty posted a note on Facebook, remarking that the festival would be remembered forever for its public participation and organization.
The minister thanked the people in Kozhikode for making the festival a success. He added that it is an achievement that the festival was organized with great success.
"We wanted to serve Kozhikode Biryani to the children attending the events. The plan to serve non-vegetarian food at the next edition of Kalolsavam is under consideration," he noted.
The minister added that everyone has the freedom to choose whether to consume vegetarian or non-vegetarian foods.
"Tens of thousands of people ate from our food outlet every day this time. Perhaps it is a historical moment to feed a community of so many students for so many days," he said.
Meanwhile, Sivankutty also remarked that government would take measures to bring modifications to the Kalolsavam manual. Further, he added that a plan would be rolled out to integrate tribal art forms into Kalolsavam in the future.
