Idukki: Minister for Electricity M. M. Mani said that the criticism against Muslim League by CPI (M) will continue.
The minister said that Muslim League did not have the authority over all Muslims. He further said that it was the CPI (M), which worked hard to ensure the safety of Muslims during the Thalassery and Marad riots.
When Malappuram district was formed, Congress criticised EMS stating that he was creating another Pakistan. Now the same people are criticising CPI (M). What did P. K. Kunhalikutty, who went to Delhi to safeguard the interests of Muslims, actually do?
During the Thalassery riots, none of the leaders including C. H. Mohammed Koya visited the area. Instead it was EMS, M. V. Raghavan and Pinarayi Vijayan who handled the situation effectively.
