Kochi: The Kerala High Court on Tuesday stayed the implementation of the order permitting only Akshaya Centres to use Jeevan Rekha software for welfare pension mustering.

The interim stay order was issued by Justice Mohammed Nias while considering a petition challenging the order prohibiting pension mustering through other service centres. The matter will be considered again on May 2.

Reportedly, the petition raised demands including the permission to carry out pension mustering through centres other than Akshaya centres.
