Malappuram: KT Jaleel said there is a reason behind police registering a case against Swapna Suresh for her recent statements in the gold smuggling case. His remark came amidst opposition parties claiming that no case was filed against Saritha S Nair for her allegations in the Solar Scam case.
Jaleel said no one filed a complaint against Saritha Nair out of fear that an investigation would ultimately lead to them. We filed a case against Swapna with a clear conscience that we don't have anything to do with these allegations. His remark came as a Facebook post.
He added that they don't fear national agencies finding anything about their alleged role in the case.
