Thiruvananthapuram: Kerala Congress (M) requested for two ministers in the LDF cabinet, it is learnt. Jose K Mani put forward this demand in the meeting held by CPM regarding the ministerial posts.

"We have clearly said that we should get a deserving representation in the cabinet. The leadership has informed that more discussions can be held in this regard. We informed progress in election results. LDF approached the election with unity,' Jose K Mani told the media when he arrived for the meeting at AKG Centre.

As per reports, CPM is not interested in giving two ministerial posts to Kerala Congress (M). But they have offered a ministerial post and chief whip post. However, Jose K Mani informed that more bilateral talks will be held and LDF will take appropriate steps.
