We accomplished what UDF govt had failed at: Kodiyeri Balakrishnan
Kochi: The CPM State Secretary Kodiyeri Balakrishnan said that LDF government has initiated developmental projects in the state which were deemed impossible by the previous government. He was speaking while inaugurating a public meeting organised by his party cadres at Kaloor against the backdrop of election campaign.
"The UDF government failed at launching Kerala Bank. The development of the bank is now in the final stage of completion. KIFBI was made into a reality. The LDF government could accomplish what the UDF government failed at’’ Kodiyeri held.
The Chief Minister has reinvigorated the stalled projects like Gail pipeline scheme and development of national highways. The LDF government has initiated major developments in the state like introducing Coastal Highway and Kovalam-Bekal National Waterway Project.
Kodiyeri has lashed out against KPCC Chairman Mullapally Ramachandran’s public statements on the Koodathai murder serial case. He maintained that statements like these are unjustified and could provide a shield for the real culprits behind the murder.
CPI District Executive Member M.B. Radhakrishnan presided over the function. CPM District Secretary C.N. Mohanan, Congress-S. State Treasurer T.V. Varghese, M. Swaraj MLA spoke at the function.
