Sini (32) from Kollivayal colony in Meppadi is the deceased.

The incident took place around 4:30 pm on Saturday when she was on the rooftop of her house. She had gone there to collect the dried clothes as rain was coming.
She was rushed to a private hospital in Kalpetta soon after lightning struck her. Despite the immediate medical attention, her injuries proved fatal, and she passed away.
Sini's husband, Sivdasan, along with their children Sivapriya, Vishnudas, and Sreejith, are left grieving over their loss.
