Thiruvananthapuram: The Kerala Water Authority has stayed the decision to make only online payment of amounts above Rs 500 for domestic drinking water connections.
The stay is based on the complaints by customers. The decision to make payment of bills of non-domestic connections online has been withdrawn.
The water authority had decided to make the payments online from January 2023. It came into effect on Wednesday.
