The truck which overturned to the house
Kottayam: A house in Panachikkad here was partially damaged after a concrete mixer truck overturned from the adjacent road on Sunday.
The house damaged is owned by Thundayil Kunjumon.
The incident happened around 10 am on Sunday.
The overturned following a mudslide near the road close to the house.
Two guest workers inside the truck had a narrow escape as they managed to jump from it when the vehicle overturned. A huge mishap was averted as there was no one inside the house as they went for Sunday church service.
The truck was brought to fill the pits formed following the construction works related of Jal Jeevan Mission. Attempts to shift the overturned truck is ongoing. However, it will be a cumbersome task as the truck has concrete mixture in it.
