Thiruvananthapuram: Chief minister Pinarayi Vijayan reached the Netherlands as part of the European tour and the Indian Ambassador in Amsterdam Venu Rajamani and Indian communities accorded a warm welcome at the airport.
The chief minister visited the Indian Embassy in the Netherlands and the Indian Ambassador presented him the book written by him titled `What can we learn from the Dutch: Rebuilding Kerala post 2019 Floods’.
Representatives of the Dutch and German companies apprised the CM about solid waste treatment, transport and other technicalities in Internet of Things. Representatives of companies like ARF Traffic Solutions, TNO Big Data Value Centre and Sonra Global Infra spoke to Pinarayi Vijayan.
Chief secretary Tom Jose, additional chief secretary Dr Viswas Mehta were also with the chief minister. The CM will be in the Netherlands till Saturday and will visit River Conservation Projects. The CM will also hold discussions with other ministers.
