Virtual queue to be enabled in Guruvayur temple for darshan from Tuesday
Guruvayur: Virtual queue will be enabled in Guruvayur temple for 'darshan' from Tuesday onwards. 600 people will be allowed to have 'darshan' per day. Booking can be done through www.guruvayurdewaswom.com from Sunday. This system can be availed only till June 13. From June 15. booking will have to be done via TSS system of Devaswom board.
The 'darshan' timing is between 9.30 am and 1.30 pm. Devotees will have to bring token prints containing QR codes and the date and timing of 'darshan' along with their identification cards. They will have to reach the queue complex near the east side of the temple 20 minutes before the stipulated time. Entry to the ‘Nalambalam’ will be restricted for the devotees.
The arrangements for the virtual 'darshan' were completed on Saturday. Thrissur police, under the leadership of Commissioner R Aditya, conducted the examination. Devaswom chairman KB Mohandas and Administrator SV Shishir were also present. Temple and its premises will be disinfected on Monday morning.
