Vijayaraghavan flays BJP, says it controls constitutional bodies including EC
Thiruvananthapuram: CPM state secretary A Vijayaraghavan alleged that BJP has taken control of constitutional bodies, including the Election Commission and Reserve Bank of India. He raised the allegation in an article published in the CPM mouthpiece.
“Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan has filed a complaint with Chief Electoral Officer against the national investigation agencies interrupting the election process in Kerala. But the EC responded that the probe cannot be restricted in the name of model code of conduct. This response was an expected one,” criticized Vijayaraghavan.
He alleged that Swapna Suresh’s statement was BJP’s bomb ahead of the assembly polls. He added that the investigation agencies and those who control them are getting insulted before the public.
“After the declaration of the election, BJP and Congress leaders are speaking alike. Amit Shah has repeated the allegations raised by Rahul Gandhi a few days ago. BJP has been making fun of them before the public by quarrelling on the CM candidate. There is no need to explain on how BJP won the lone seat in the 2016 assembly polls,” Vijayaraghavan criticised.
He also alleged that BJP won the seat in Nemom as per the secret agreement with Congress.
He also questioned the inefficiency of NIA and Amit Shah to nab the key conspirator in the gold smuggling case.
