Kochi: The producer and actor Vijay Babu facing rape charges stated that he will cooperate with the investigation. He was responding after landing in Kochi from Dubai.
“I had said that I would reach today. I have complete conviction in the honourable court. I will cooperate with the police for investigation. The truth has to be revealed,’ said Vijay Babu. He also conveyed gratitude for all those who stood for him.
Vijay Babu arrived in Kochi by Emirates Airlines on Wednesday at 9.30 am. He then appeared before the investigation officer for interrogation after visiting a temple in Aluva.
As a major relief for the accused, the Kerala High Court had forbidden the police from arresting Vijay Babu for two days. The HC will consider his anticipatory bail plea again on Thursday.
