Kochi: The NIA court has granted permission to hand over the WhatsApp chats of Swapna Suresh, M Sivasankar and chartered accountant Venugopal, to the Vigilance, in connection with the probe into Wadakkancherry Life Mission scam. The documents from C-DAC will be handed over to the Vigilance within one week.

The Vigilance also received permission to examine the phone records of Sivasankar and Swapna Suresh. They filed a petition in the NIA court the other day requesting WhatsApp chats of Swapna Suresh, M Sivasankar and chartered accountant Venugopal.

The Vigilance found out that huge commission was received in the Life Mission project. Sivasankar was last interrogated by the Vigilance regarding this case.

The probe team decided to collect the WhatsApp chats assuming they can obtain more information related to the commission deals from the messages.
