Kochi: The court will pronounce the verdict on the bail plea filed by former principal secretary M Sivasankar in connection with the case registered by the Enforcement Directorate (ED) on Tuesday.

Ernakualm Principal Sessions Court deferred the case to pronounce the verdict after hearing the arguments on Thursday. Currently, Sivasankar is remanded in Ernakulam district prison till November 26. He can be released if bail is granted.

However, if the Customs files a plea to name Sivasankar as accused in the case after interrogation in the prison, he is likely to get arrested.
