Palakkad: As part of the mission to make the regional court orders available in Malayalam language, the verdict of the Attapadi Madhu murder case was translated into Malayalam with the aid of Artificial Intelligence (AI).

The Kerala High Court IT department translated the verdict using the language translation tool ‘Anuvadini’ developed by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTA).

However, the preface to the translation recommends not to use the Malayalam version for official purposes or for pronouncing other verdicts as there might be contextual differences while translating using language translation tools.

The Supreme Court had earlier ordered to translate the verdicts to regional languages in order to make them accessible for all.

The Malayalam translation of the Madhu murder case is available on the website https://districts.ecourts.gov.in/palakkad
