Kozhikode: Motor Vehicle Department suspended the driving licence of 11 students of Markaz Arts and Science College in Kozhikode for reckless driving and dangerous stunts using cars and bikes.
A group of football frenzy students attempted the stunts on the college ground here on Wednesday. They brandished flags of teams partaking in the World Cup.
Apart from suspending the licence, MVD issued a show cause notice to the students and slapped a fine of Rs 66,000 for the violation of the norms.
