Veerendra Kumar won’t leave UDF: Chennithala
Kozhikode: Congress leader and Home Minister Ramesh Chennithala on Saturday said JD(U) leader M P Veerendra Kumar has no plans to leave the UDF.
“It is nothing but a daydream of the CPM. Let the CPM first tidy up their own abode,” he said.
On Saturday, CPM politburo member Pinarayi Vijayan had shared dais with Veerendra Kumar at the function to release of the book penned by the latter. Following this, discussions were rife whether JD(U) has plans to join the LDF fold. Against this backdrop, Chennithala turned up with an explanation.
“There is nothing odd in placing C-APT MD under suspension. The decision was taken with the knowledge of Education Minister,” Chennithala added.
