K Sudhakaran, V D Satheesan; Mathrubhumi
Taliparamba: Opposition leader VD Satheesan dismissed rumours of an ongoing rift with KPCC President K Sudhakaran. He said that there is no difference of opinion with Sudhakaran.
"The election process in Congress has begun. The KPCC president has already said that the party is ready for election if there is general consensus. The matter will be discussed with those who raise complaints. I am assigned by the party to look into the matter," he said.
He criticized the CPM and claimed that Congress does not follow their principle. "If Pinarayi Vijayan recommends something, the party will obey without any question. But Congress is not such a party. There will be discussion, consultation and disagreement on matters. The party follows democracy within itself," he added.
"What is happening in the CPM now is a shift from communist and leftist policies," he said.
Satheesan also ridiculed the CPM state conference and claimed that the event will be known for the party's shift to right-wing politics.
