Mullappally Ramachandran
Thiruvananthapuram: KPCC president Mullappally Ramachandran said that a party-level investigation will be carried out in connection with the incident in which unused election posters of UDF candidate in Vattiyoorkavu Veena S Nair was found from a scrap shop.
The election was a battle conducted with limited resources. The women candidates and others are facing financial crisis. We can win only if everyone cooperates. So, we cannot accept the incident of selling unused posters in scrap shop. We talked with the candidate, Mullappally said.
A probe committee headed by KPCC was formed to examine the incident. The investigation will be carried out as early as possible. We will examine if this is an isolated incident or any leaders are involved in this, Mullappally added.
Many party leaders wanted to contest the polls from Vattiyoorkavu. But Veena was fielded there after several discussions. Mullappally stated that he did not receive any complaints regarding the candidate selection.
