Thiruvananthapuram: As per reports, the railway authorities have agreed in principle over the ticket fares of Vande Bharat Express in Kerala.

The Vande Bharat trains are expected to have a minimum ticket price of Rs 297 and a maximum ticket price of Rs 2150 for a journey. For a 50 km trip, the chair car fare is proposed to be around Rs 241, while the executive chair car fare is estimated to be Rs 502.

The shortest journey on the Vande Bharat Express is between Thiruvananthapuram and Kollam. Based on current estimates, a one-way ticket for the chair car would cost approximately Rs 291, while an executive chair car ticket would cost around Rs 614.

For the journey from Thiruvananthapuram to Kannur, passengers would have to spend Rs 1100 for chair car and Rs 2150 for the executive chair car.

Meanwhile, the ticket rate will be Rs 441 and Rs 911 for Thiruvananthapuram-Kottayam, Rs 520 and Rs 1070 for Thiruvananthapuram-Ernakulam and Rs 617 and Rs 1260 for Thiruvananthapuram-Thrissur and Rs 801 and Rs 1643 for Thiruvananthapuram-Kozhikode.
