Thiruvananthapuram: The ticket booking of Kerala’s Vande Bharat Express began from 8 am on Sunday. The train, which will be flagged off by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on April 25, will start running normal services from Thiruvananthapuram on April 28. However, the train service from Kasaragod will begin on April 26. The train will not conduct service on Thursdays.
As per the ticket rates, for a journey from Thiruvananthapuram to Kasaragod, passengers would have to spend Rs 1590 for AC chair car and Rs 2880 for executive chair car. Whereas, the ticket fare for the Kasaragod - Thiruvananthapuram journey is Rs 1,520 for AC chair car and Rs 2,815 for the executive chair car.
There are a total of 914 seats in the chair car and 86 seats in the executive chair car. The tickets can be booked through the IRCTC website, mobile app and reservation counters at railway stations.
