Vadakkencherry accident: Mortal remains of students, teacher to reach school for public homage

Palakkad: The inquest proceedings of nine individuals who lost their lives in the bus accident in Vadakkencherry are completed.

The deceased are Vishnu(33), the physical education teacher of the Baselios Vidyanikethan Senior Secondary School in Ernakulam, and students Anjana Ajith (17), Emmanuel CS (17), Diya Rajesh(15), Cris Winterborn Thomas (15), and Elna Jose (15), and passengers of KSRTC bus- Anoop (22), Deepu, and Rohit Raj (24). Rohit was a national basketball player.

The post-mortem proceedings of Anjana, Diya, and Emmanuel, were conducted in Palakkad district hospital. The bodies of Elna, Cris, and Vishnu are now in a hospital in Alathur. The mortal remains of the students and teacher will be placed in the school for public homage.
