V. S. Achuthanandan shifted to Sree Chitra hospital
Thiruvananthapuram: Veteran Communist Party of India (Marxist) leader and Administrative Reform Commission chairman V. S. Achuthanandan has been shifted to Sree Chitra hospital here on Saturday.
Earlier, the former chief minister was admitted to SUT hospital at Pattom here on Friday following a blood clot in the brain.
Achuthanandan’s health condition has improved but he still requires more neurology related treatment. Hence he was transferred to the stroke unit at Sree Chitra Tirunal Institute for Medical Sciences & Technology, revealed SUT Hospital authorities.
