V Muraleedharan welcomes state's decision to revoke lockdown relaxations


Welcoming the Chief Secretary’s action, Muraleedharan said that he came to know about it through the media

Thiruvananthapuram: Union Minister of State for External Affairs and Parliamentary Affairs V Muraleedharan said that he welcomes Chief Secretary’s announcement about revoking the lockdown relaxations in the state. In his Facebook post, Muraleedharan stated that if relaxatiosn are misused, it would endanger the whole society and that the government needs to make the right interventions under the present context.

Welcoming the Chief Secretary’s action, Muraleedharan said that he came to know about it through media. He also expressed his happiness over government's action to rectify the mistakes.

Earlier, Centre had issued a warning for Kerala against the lockdown relaxations announced by the state. The Home Secretary wrote a letter seeking state government’s explanation on the matter. Following this the state revoked some of the relaxations approved earlier, including opening of barber shops and in-dine facilities at hotels.

V Muraleedharan had criticized state’s decision to provide these relaxations in an earlier post.
