Uthra's mother retires from service; attends farewell with grandson
Kollam: None of the colleagues of Manimeghala teacher wished a happy retirement life to her. They know that she would be living in endless pain at a time when she should have lived happily with her family.
The colleagues did not know whether to wish her or to offer her condolences. Manimeghala, mother of Uthra who was murdered by her husband using a snake in Anchal, retired from Ayur Jawahar School as its Principal on Saturday. She visited the school along with her grandson Kichu, Uthra’s son.
Kichu watched everything patiently when the duty was handed over and when they left the school after the farewell ceremony. Manimeghala arrived at the school along with one of her relatives, Shyam. She worked in Ayur School for 12 years. Before joining Ayur School, she also worked at schools in Kulathuppuzha and Chozhiyakkad.
