Kannur: Muslim League leader KM Shaji alleged that the Uralungal Labour Contract Co-operative Society has been 'whitening' the black money for Kerala Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan.

While speaking at an event in Kannur, Shaji criticized Kerala Chief Minister saying "Uralungal Society is the Adani of Kerala."

Uralungal Society recently came under the scanner after Congress alleged that the CPM-controlled society has links with the companies that received sub-contracts in a project to install AI-based surveillance cameras in the state. Shaji was attending an event hosted by Youth League.

The High Court recently annulled an FIR against Shaji in the Plus two batch bribery case. Shaji also alleged that Chief Minister was behind the fabricated case targeting him.

"The house number of Chief Minister's residence in Pinarayi (Kannur) and the outhouse has been swapped," he said.

He said that Chief Minister is involved in several corruptions and called for a probe.
