University College stabbing case: Govt taking strict action, says CM

Thiruvananthapuram: In the incident of a student stabbed at University College, Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan said that strict action will be taken against those involved in the case.

“This incident should have never happened in a college. Government is taking strict actions on the issue. Never will government take the matter lightly. Everyone would have understood it by now,” he told reporters here.

Pinarayi Vijayan also said that the international conclave - Development Partners conclave was a bigger success than expected.

The association of World Bank in rebuilding activities is a huge achievement. World Bank has offered to invest as per Kerala’s requirement, he added.
