University College conflict: SFI unit committee dismissed
Thiruvananthapuram: Following the incident of a student being stabbed during a tussle between two groups at the University College here, the SFI unit in the campus has been dismissed.
The decision was taken by the SFI state committee which also said that all the seen of its members, accused in the case, will be removed from the outfit.
During inquiries, SFI learned that its Thiruvananthapuram University College committee failed to work by gaining the acceptance of students or handle the wrong doings in the campus with maturity. Based on this, SFI decided to dismiss the unit.
Moreover, SFI removed its seven members - A N Nazeem, Shivaranjith, Muhammad Ibrahim, Adwait, Amar and Aromal, - who were accused in the case, from the primary membership of the outfit and all organisational responsibilities.
SFI state committee mentioned that it's unit was trying to maintain peace and order inside the college campus and that action will be taken against all those working against it.
