Thiruvananthapuram: UDF leadership has stated that it will counter the communal card used by LDF with its commitment towards secularism.

The leadership observed that LDF was able to create a narrative during the LSG polls that UDF diluted its secular approach. This turned even the traditional vote banks against UDF in the election. The trust of these vote banks should be regained.

CPM is playing an even more communal card as they found out that their campaign again LDF in the LSG polls yielded results. The party is trying to incite friction between and within communities. UDF leaders instructed that this move should be exposed.

The leaders also wanted to make efforts to regain the trust of all communities. They also said that UDF manifesto will remove the anxiety from the minds of all communities.
