Kannur: Congress leader K Sudhakaran stated that the party has drawbacks in their organisational system.
The organisational system of the CPM and BJP benefitted them. But Congress cannot claim such a quality. For the past 4-5 years, Kerala has been witnessing a substandard administration. However, UDF failed to present the shortcomings of the government in front of the public. I admit that, Sudhakaran said.
Despite having a clearly favourable political situation in Kerala, the UDF could not utilise the same due to the failure in their organisational system. The new jumbo committees of the KPCC was not effective. Though Congress was reorganised including the leaders who gained popularity in local level, the party could not make any benefit from it. This system need to be reviewed, he added.
LDF made alliance with communal parties in order to win the polls. CPM has an open alliance with SDPI in Muzhappilangadu, the constituency of Pinarayi Vijayan. The victory was a result of this link, Sudhakaran alleged.
