Thiruvananthapuram: United Democratic Front (UDF) is staging a massive protest in Thiruvananthapuram on the occasion of Pinarayi Vijayan-led LDF government celebrating its second anniversary of coming to power in Kerala.

Alleging misgovernance, violence, corruption, and inflation faced by the public, the UDF and BJP workers staged protests around the Secretariat premises, leading to traffic disruption in various parts of the state capital. The protestors are staging an agitation in front of three entrances to the Secretariat complex.

Opposition leader VD Satheesan, senior Congress leaders Ramesh Chennithala, MM Hassan and Muslim League leader PK Kunhalikutty are among participating in the protest events.

Meanwhile, UDF will issue a 'chargesheet' against the government in reply to LDF's move to release its 'Progress card' highlighting the accomplishments under the Pinarayi Vijayan ministry.
