Kanhangad (Kasaragod): In response to the murder of a DYFI worker here, minister K T Jaleel stated that Ouf Abdul Rahiman is the latest victim of violence unleashed by the Muslim League. Muslim League has been engaging in violence in Kasaragod region for a long time. They have attacked many political parties, he told the media after visiting the house of the murdered DYFI worker.

“Abdul Rahiman supports DYFI politically. Ouf is the grandson of late Alampady Usthad, a religious scholar. In religious affairs, they follow the Sunni faction led by A P Aboobackar Musliyar. Both these factors provoked them and led to the murder,” Jaleel stated.
