Two more COVID deaths reported in state on Tuesday
Thiruvananthapuram: Two more deaths due to COVID-19 were reported in the state on Tuesday. The deceased has been identified as Kasaragod Chalingal native Shamsudheen (52) and Thiruvananthapuram Anchuthengu native Paul Joseph (70).
Shamsudheen was under treatment at Pariyaram medical college due to kidney disease. He had fever after discharge from hospital. So he was subjected to tests and was confirmed with COVID-19. Though he was admitted to Pariyaram medical college again, his life could not be saved. It is yet to be found from where he contracted the disease.
It is learnt that Paul Joseph was already suffering from heart-related ailments. He was diagnosed with COVID the other day and was admitted to Thiruvananthapuram medical college. He died on Tuesday morning, as per reports. Anchuthengu is one of the largest COVID clusters in Thiruvananthapuram.
