Theni (Tamil Nadu): Two Malayali youths met a tragic end on Tuesday after their car hit a truck near Theni in Tamil Nadu. The deceased have been identified as Ajesh (23) and Gokul (23), natives of Kottayam.

The incident took place around 3.30 am after the youths' car rammed the truck. One of the passengers, Kottayam native Anandu V Rajesh, sustained injuries and has been admitted to the medical college hospital in Theni.

As per reports, the youths were on their way to pick up Anandu’s sister from a college in Tamil Nadu. The car, which met with the accident, belongs to the friend of Anandu’s father.

The accident took place after the rear wheel burst and the vehicle hit the Karnataka registered truck which came in the opposite direction.

The Theni Allinagaram police have registered a case into the incident.
