Mananthavady: In an unfortunate incident, two people were killed after an Innova car collided with a Torres lorry in Wayanad. The deceased have been identified as Kannur natives Afreed and Munavir.
The incident took place on Mananthavady - Kalpetta route around 10.30 am on Monday. As per reports, the car, which carried three passengers, lost control after the driver fell asleep. The vehicle collided with the truck at Pachilakkadu Town.
The third passenger, Munavir, who sustained injuries, has been shifted to a hospital. The front side of the car has been destroyed in the accident.
