Palakkad: Two people died from electric shock in Attappadi here on Thursday. The deceased are Manjikkandi native Mathew and Cherpulassery native Raju.
Raju was electrocuted while saving Mathew. It is assumed that Mathew touched a faulty service wire (which transmits electricity from the KSEB lines to the buildings). Service wires are insulated. Police are probing the incident.
