Kozhikode: Two people died and four others were injured in an accident at Vayalkkara near Ramanattukara. A freight lorry hit a car and an auto-rickshaw in the evening of Thursday.
The car was headed towards Kozhikode. The passengers were Koduvally natives.
Natives who took part in the rescue mission alleged that the lorry driver was drunk. The car was trapped under the lorry post-accident. A crane was used for pulling the car out.
