Kochi: Twenty20 chief coordinator Sabu M Jacob informed that the party will contest the Thrikkakara by-election in association with the Aam Aadmi Party. Sabu said that discussions were conducted with the Aam Aadmi Party national convener and Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal and further declarations will be made at the conference scheduled on May 15.

Twenty20 chief coordinator stated that the party will nominate a popular candidate in Thrikkakara and uphold the fulfilled projects instead of making fake promises to the people. He said that both Aam Aadmi Party and Twenty20 are the parties which proved its strength here.

Regarding the SilverLine project, Sabu said the party’s stance is not against development. However, huge projects like SilverLine, have to be taken up only after addressing the current issues of the public. The government that is already running on credit shall not fall into debt trap by commencing such a huge project, added Sabu M Jacob.
