Those injured in stray dog attack

Thiruvananthapuram: Seven people were injured in a stray dog attack in Perumathura here on Friday. The incident took place around 4 pm. As per reports, the condition of one person is critical.

The injured are Ottappana natives Nadiya (23), Safeena (40), Nissar (50), Haseena (40), Rafi (41), Sainaba (65) and Bilal (20). They have been admitted to the Medical College Hospital.

Initially, the stray dog attacked a woman, one among the injured, and later went after others. Efforts to capture the dog are underway.
