Kochi: Social activist Trupti Desai who arrived in Kerala on Tuesday to enter into the Sabarimala Ayyappa Temple refused to buy return ticket to Mumbai, according to reports.
However, police are trying to send her back by the 12.30 am flight. If she doesn’t budge, there are chances that she would be arrested. And this requires government’s permission. Discussions in this regard are progressing.
By evening Trupti was in discussion with her team to return and had informed of their willingness to go back to Mumbai. However, they later changed stance and informed police that a decision on return can be taken only after more discussions with her team.
Meanwhile, Sabarimala Karma Samithi has organized Namajapa protest in front of Kochi Commissioner Office where Trupti and gang are housed. The protest has around 50 members participating.
On Tuesday morning around 7 am Trupti arrived here. But police informed them that no security can be provided to enter Sabarimala temple.
