TRS MLAs poaching case: Lookout notice issued against Thushar Vellappally

Hyderabad: Telangana Special Investigation team has issued a lookout notice against BDJS president Thushar Vellappally over the alleged attempts to poach TRS MLAs. The lookout notice was issued after Thushar didn’t turn up before the probe team even after receiving summons.

Thushar Vellappally was booked in the case after Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao alleged that he was a part of BJP’s operation lotus in Telangana. KCR alleged that Thushar Vellappally tried to bribe four TRS MLAs for BJP.

The SIT also issued a lookout notice against Jaggu Swamy who is based in Kochi. Earlier, Telangana police had reached Kerala in search of Jaggu Swamy. But he moved to a hideout after coming to know about the Telangana police’s move. Telangana police had searched various places in Kochi and Kollam to trace the accused and interrogated his acquaintances. But they didn’t get any clue about Jaggu Swamy’s hideout.

Amidst this, BJP national general secretary (organisation) BL Santhosh sought more time to appear for interrogation in the case.
