Contract staff and temporary staff are allowed to go to their office or bank to receive salary. They are requested to keep physical distance and keep proper documents ready with them. The Chief Minister said while addressing a press meet.
The SC/ST Development Department and Forest Department have jointly initiated some actions to provide essentials to tribal people living deep in the forest. Those who retire on March 31 are facing difficulties to reach the office and to hand over duties officially. Considering this, they will be treated as retired even if no official duty handover takes place. As it is hard to obtain certificates, the requirement of certificates for the pension for unmarried women and widows will be avoided.
The Chief Minister also said complaints arose that staff nurses in some private hospitals are working for 3-4 days and are given leave at loss of pay. He added that such tendencies are not right and the health department will discuss it with the private hospitals. He directed that the employers should not reduce pay of staff during a crisis like this.
