Kerala boy dies after neck got stuck in window of auto rickshaw


The boy tried to get into the vehicle through the half-closed window by standing firm on the wheel. However, he slipped from the wheel and his neck got jammed in the window.

Ambalappuzha: In a tragic incident, a four-year-old boy died after his neck got trapped in the window glass of a goods auto rickshaw on Wednesday. The deceased has been identified as Muhammed Hanan, son of Umarul Athab of Mannan Parambil at Kuravanthodu in Punnapra.

The incident happened when his father came for lunch at home. The vehicle was parked in front of the house and his parents were inside the house. The boy tried to get into the vehicle through the half-closed window by standing firm on the wheel. However, he slipped from the wheel and his neck got jammed in the window.



By not seeing him for a while, his parents checked the vehicle only to see him trapped in the window. He was rushed to hospital but could not save his life. His mother is Ansila and brother Muhammed Ameen.
