TN bus which run via Attapadi

Agali: Tamil Nadu State Transport Corporation (TNSTC) has started service to Mannarkkad via Attappadi.

Interestingly, the bus having Tamil Nadu CM MK Stalin’s photo made a surprise entry to Kerala border on May 1 around 12:00 PM.

Kerala State Road Transport Corporation (KSRTC) officials at Mannarkkad depot did not have any clue about the new bus service.

KSRTC officials interacted with employees of TN bus to collect details. The station controlling officer at depot later informed that Kerala had given nod for the service to Mettupalayam. Regarding the same, KSRTC will receive official letter from Tamil Nadu on Monday.

Meanwhile, the surprise entry of the bus, with Mannarkkad board written in Tamil, received a warm welcome from locals.

The bus starts from Mettupalayam at 6:00 AM. The bus enters through the lake-way route via Attappadi and reach Mannarkkad by 11:30 AM. By 12:00 PM, the bus will leave to Tiruppur.
