Unable to bear the torture from her inebriated husband, a Kottayam woman tried to kill herself. However, with a stroke of good luck, some policemen were able to bring her back to life at the very last moment.

The incident happened when the policemen of Kottayam station were conducting a vehicle inspection near the Kottayam-Kumarakom road. The officials received a call from the police station informing them that a father had sought help accompanying him to the son-in-law's house.
